Well, I managed to get everything installed and running on the computer. Been stress testing the BBS for a couple days now. Looking good! I took it down because I had setup in the den with the Windows PC’s monitor. Next step is to just take it to the workshop and throw it on the router down there and hook up my KVM switch to it with the linux box. Then just boot her up and start the BBS.

All the old threads in the message bases as well as the users will be purged. We’re going to start fresh! All the files in the File Libraries are staying put though. But I’ll probably weed through some of them to take out older programs or replace with updated versions.

I also seem to have gotten the hang of RapidWeaver, which is what this site is built with. I had it, and it was just sitting on the harddrive of the Macbook Pro, so I figured I should use it. I kinda like it now that I got the hang of it. And I set it up on the server so I could publish pretty easily now. So we’re batting .500!
